How to Have Fun at Universal Studios Singapore ☼

I visited the amusement park more than 10 times since it opened in 2010 and believe me or not, I still get thrilled every time I go there. For me, visiting the park is like Christmas time. Even if I know what’s going to happen, I still can’t wait for what I’m going to get. I am always giddy and gung-ho as ever.

Here are some tips to get the most fun at Universal Studios Singapore!

1. Go on Off-Peak Days (Monday to Thursday).
2. Buy your tickets online to avoid the queue.
3. Pack light. But don’t forget to bring an extra shirt.
4. Take a map. They are available at the turnstile located at the entrance of the park.
5. Take a copy of the performance and meet and greet schedule. Also available at the entrance of the park.
6. Avoid queues at the amusement ride (Transformers: the Ride, Revenge of The Mummy, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure) by getting there early! I recommend trying the rides as soon as you enter the theme park.
7. Another tip to beat long lines is to use the Single Rider Queue.
8. Be prepared because you might get wet. (See Tip #3)
9. Take bottled water. There are plenty of drinking fountains in the park where you can refill your bottle. It will save you heaps too!
10. Don’t forget these essentials – sunblock lotion, sunglasses, raincoat (in case of rain) camera, extra batteries, a small towel, wet tissues, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, and Singapore Dollar of course!
11. Have fun and make the most out of it!
