Photoblog : My Chocolate Ville Experience

The Chocolate Ville is an interesting themed restaurant which is located 45 minutes away from the City of Bangkok. When I was doing my research, I found out that the best and most convenient way to get there is by hiring a taxi because the location is not near any BTS or MRT Station. I do suggest however that you have its address written down in Thai. You may ask your hotel receptionist to do this for you. Aside from the fact that most of the taxi drivers in Bangkok don’t know how to communicate in English, it is safe to say that they are not familiar with the Chocolate Ville’s location too. After a few attempts to hire a taxi and explain where we wanted to go, the third taxi driver let us in and used his GPS to find the Chocolate Ville. It cost us 200 Baht to finally get there!

We arrived at our destination (full of bliss) at about 1:00 pm without knowing that the guards wouldn’t let us in until 4:00! It was a bit frustrating though because our only intention was to take heaps of photos inside. I was aware however that the restaurant opens at 4:00 pm so we ended up taking pictures outside. Nevertheless, it was still magical!
