DIY Christmas Tree Rubber Stamp

Not so long ago, I carved my very first rubber stamp. I was happy of the result and since Christmas is just around the corner, I decided to make my own Christmas tags using craft paper and a Christmas tree rubber stamp.

What You Need :
  • Rubber pad (you can use an eraser too)
  • Pencil
  • Tracing Paper
  • X-acto knife
  • Speedball linoleum cutters
  • Inkpad
Instructions:
  • Draw your design on the tracing paper. I decided to draw a Christmas tree - simply because it was easy to draw one!
  • After that, place the tracing paper down onto the corner of the rubber pad and use the back of the linoleum cutter to rub over your design.
  • You are now ready to carve! Start by using the smallest blade of your cutters. Carve around the outside edges of your design. Once the outline is completed, you can now carve the excess rubber.
  • Carefully carve out the rubber surrounding your design.
  • Ink your rubber stamp and keep stamping!
