Filipino-Style Pork Steak

What You Need:
  • 6 pieces boneles pork loin chops
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium white onion, cut into rings
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • In a container, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the pork loin chops and marinate for at least an hour. ( I cooked rice while waiting.)
  • Heat extra virgin olive oil and butter in a pan over low-medium heat. When the mixture of oil and butter is hot, fry the marinated boneless pork loin chops for about 3-5 minutes per side.
  • When all the pork loin chops are done, drain off the excess oil from the pan.
  • Place the pork loin chops in the same pan and then pour the remaining marinade sauce. Let it boil until pork is tender.
  • Add in the onions and cook for another minute.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Serve and enjoy!
